The location was unbeatable and brilliant, for example, Mv Swift was not too far from the hotel.

Street view was worthy. Very central location just off the centre and Windermere, it was in a fairly quiet area. Actually everything was lovely, my next choice again in Windermere.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were chatty.

Breadfast is good. Wi-fi is available.
Breadfast time starting from 8:30 and it is too late for travellers need to leave early. The room is small and I suppose the room in Lake District would wider than in London but the room size seems the same. The shower area is flooding. I need to take shower 5min and stop to wait for the water all gone. Staff always not here.

We liked the very friendly hosts and staff; so hospitable, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! We could tell it was made from quality ingredients. The bed was very comfy and the room was toasty warm. Great value for money for a New Year's Eve stay; we would definitely stay there again.
Nothing.

It was just a balanced option for a fleeting trip in Windermere with excellent value for money. The shower was powerful enough to soothe any aches and pains from the journey. If you arrive early, consider knocking to see if they'll let you check in sooner.

The harbour is not in walking distance, but with car it won't be a problem.

The owners are very friendly, and even though I reached the house very early (like 2hrs before the official check-in time) to deposit one of my bags, the owner just showed me to the room. It is very quiet (there's a library opposite), and there are two heaters, one in the bathroom and the other in the room. I love the heater in the bathroom because it is so comfortable (and useful) after you come out from the bath, because the bathroom is all nicely heated up. The dining room is also lovely, and elegantly designed and you feel like you've just walked into a hotel restaurant rather than a guest house. I really enjoyed my stay in the house. By the way, the cost of stay is seriously affordable!
The only thing that you will dislike is that the house is not yours or own by you!
